  辛金元,博士,研究员, 1975年10月出生于内蒙古。1999年毕业于兰州大学,2002年获兰州大学大气物理与大气环境专业硕士学位,2007年获兰州大学气象学博士学位;2002年至2007年中国人民解放军防化工程指挥学院,技术少校,讲师;2007年进入中国科学院大气物理研究所工作,2016年晋升为研究员,主要从事大气污染物与气溶胶观测与模拟研究。主持国家自然科学基金、科技部国家重点研发计划课题、中科院战略先导专项子课题等共10项科研项目;发表论文110余篇,教材著作1部;其中75篇SCI,影响因子累计260;论文总引2200多次。曾获首届国家优青、全国优秀气象工作者、全军优秀教材、学笃风正创新贡献奖、赵九章优秀中青年科学奖等共10项等10项科技奖励与荣誉称号。
